No one can trust you to deliver something better than yourself. Even those who are close to you sometimes take time to believe that you can achieve greatness. If you love singing, go for it. It doesn't matter how many places you sing at or how many people you sing for, you will not be appreciated as you should be as long as you have not recorded any song in the studio. Go for whatever is on your mind because you are the only one who can give it expression. Your idea does not become invalid simply because a few people or no one believes in it. New ideas have a tendency of looking really risky so you end up second-guessing yourself and wondering whether it will actually work. Focus on what you are pursuing and ignore all the obstacles before you no matter how insurmountable they may seem.
Nothing worthwhile in life just happens without challenges. Failure need not be final. Not getting good grades in your primary leaving examinations does not mean that you can't improve at the next stage. It's up to you to take a long hard look at yourself and see where you need to adjust.
Spiritually speaking, some apparent setbacks are aimed at making us better people. Continue trusting in God and keep on moving forward. Opportunities will usually not find you stuck in one place. Sometimes, however; you won't even need to search for them, they are just before you. Position yourself strategically so that whenever opportunity knocks, it will find you prepared and ready to roll.
Catch up with the world
- Everything is running at a high speed currently, see that your brain catches up. While many people and organizations are using Facebook and WhatsApp for marketing and networking, there are those even in this day and age who dismiss them as time-wasting gossiping platforms. Train yourself to make the most of what is available.
- Be smart and distinct in everything you do to avoid unnecessary competition. If someone else is selling something expensive, find a way of producing and providing the exact same thing at a more affordable price.
We plan for the future because we believe we will be around tomorrow and think about the future generation because we know that one day, we will be extinct.
