A Night to remember

3000km walked in my mind, body tired, my sight not good enough to focus

The Brain leaning against the back of my head, too high yet feeling so down,

On a high stool swinging my legs, eyes closed but not sleepy. On that day

Music was playing so loud, every time I could silently open my eyes I could

See young lads enjoying life, shouting on top of their voices how life is too

Short, tears rolled down my chicks because indeed to me I counted each day

As minutes that were left for me on earth.

A puff of smoke came from behind with a heavy soft voice, hi miss

I cleared my tears very fast and put on a fake smile, he gently moved his hand

Around my tinny waist calmly with his right hand holding a cigarette,

At that moment trust me I was not in the mood of talking to anyone but when he

Smiled his dental required a flash of mine too.

He looked young around 26 years old, dressed like a Mexican, the shirt

Unbuttoned, the shoe was on point, it seems he had enjoyed the place and music,

Gentle he was, he kindly asked me whether I preferred a whiskey or a cigarette
